APPEARANCE : Also known as Japanese holly, this is a narrow growing shrub with tight evergreen foliage similar to box hedging. A holly without the prickles!USE FOR: As an accent plant, alongside narrow paths, or in containers for classy formal entrances.
CLIMATE : Tolerates frost and dry conditions once established.
PLANTING: Prepare soil with compost prior to planting. Plant in well drained soil, mulch well and water regularly for the first twelve weeks until the plant is established.
CARE: Prune only as required and do so in winter while the plant is dormant.
HEIGHT & WIDTH: Up to 2.2 m H x 60 cm W.
