DESCRIPTION: Clumping grass featuring deep green leaves with a twisted/spiral habit. USE IN: Plant in containers, water gardens & rockeries, will tolerate spells indoors if given plenty of light to thrive. LOCATION: Plant in a full sun to partly shaded position in the garden in well drained soil. Protect from frost. CARE: Mulch and water regularly until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks. Native to marshlands in Japan, this plant loves a good drink, stand in a shallow dish of water if you're likely to forget to water, leaves may turn yellow if the plant becomes dry. Corkscrew rush is a clumping grass which may become crowded in pots, simply remove segments and re-pot and share with a friend or neighbour. Boost new growth during spring and summer with liquid fertiliser applied at half rate. HEIGHT & WIDTH: 60-90cm H x 0.5-1m W.
