You don't need to be born with a silver spoon in your mouth to grow this stunning silver-leaved plant. The silver colour shines in Aussie sunshine, it needs almost no maintenance, and it's a lightweight when it comes to drinking - perfect for waterwise gardens.

Kalanchoe hildebrandtii 'Silver Spoons'

APPEARANCE : Shrubby succulent with large oval leaves, silvery grey with long curved stems giving the appearance of spoons. Happy mature plants send up a long stem topped with tiny white bell-shaped flowers.
USE FOR: Anywhere sunny you can enjoy the leaf colour. Quite happy in containers. Waterwise gardens, rockeries, and firewise gardens.
PLANTING: Plant in free draining or even rocky soil in pots or out in the garden. Suited to full sun where it will develop more colour. Likes a temperature over 10C.
CARE: Like most succulents, requires little water. Weekly watering during the warmer months will keep plants looking lush. Fertilise during spring with an organic liquid feed mixed at half rate.
HEIGHT & WIDTH:  1m H x 1m W.
YOUR PLANTS: These are tubestock plants with a healthy young root system and will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80 mm x 42 mm wide. Your plants may be supplied as 'plugs', slightly smaller than our usual tubestock but with a healthy root system ready for planting or potting on.
