Leptospermum Burgundy Queen
Drought hardy and frost tolerant, burgundy foliage year round and heaps of brilliant double magenta flowers winter and spring. Grows to a tidy height of 3m, perfect for native gardens. For small spaces, try the dwarf form, rubrum nana.

APPEARANCE: Taller than rubrum nana, 'Burgundy Queen' grows upright with fine, dark green-maroon foliage and lots of deep magenta double flowers during winter and spring.
USE IN: Native style gardens for year-round colour, feature planting and for light screening. Gorgeous cut flower.
LOCATION: Sunny to part shade, suitable to exposed areas in most parts of Australia. Tolerates light frost and is drought resistant.
CARE: Mulch and water regularly until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks, prune as required to promote new growth and fertilise using a slow release native fertiliser yearly. Prune after flowering to promote dense growth habit.
