Leptospermum Julie Ann
This compact, low-growing tea tree forms a dense, neat mound of aromatic green foliage that helps suppress weeds.
In spring it’s smothered in soft pink flowers that attract bees and other pollinators, creating a vibrant display.
Hardy and easy to grow, it thrives in full sun to light shade and well-drained soil, making it perfect for borders, rockeries, pots or native gardens where a small, colourful shrub is needed.
Leptospermum rotundifolium 'Julie Ann'
APPEARANCE: A compact, low-growing Leptospermum with dense, aromatic green foliage and soft pink flowers. Its name rotundifolium meaning “round leaf” refers to its rounded foliage - the same species as Lavender Queen.
USE FOR: Perfect for borders, rockeries, pots, or native gardens where a small, colourful shrub is needed.
CLIMATE : Tolerates light frost, and short dry spells.
PLANTING : Hardy and easy to grow, it thrives in full sun to light shade and well-drained soil.
CARE: Mulch and water regularly until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks, prune as required to promote new growth and fertilise using a slow release native fertiliser yearly.
