Almost-black foliage, huge white flowers, native, wildlife-friendly, frost tolerant, fast-growing, tall for hedging or feature planting - this one is an all-round winner. Very adaptable as to where it will grow. Tea trees are always popular but we have a feeling this one might be a new favourite.

Leptospermum obovatum 'Starry Night' APPEARANCE : Dense bushy native shrub, dark purple-maroon slender foliage on purple new stems, weeping habit; big white cup-shaped flowers. Sibling of the dwarf Lemon Bun.
USES: Hedging, native and wildlife gardens and as a feature plant.
PLANTING : Plant in sun or full shade. Frost tolerant, drought tolerant and salt spray tolerant once established. Grows in seasonally wet soils too.
CARE: Mulch and water regularly during the first 4-6 weeks or until the plant is established.
HEIGHT & WIDTH: 2.5 m H x 2 m W.
