Leucadendron laureolum x salignum 'Ebony'

APPEARANCE : Medium-sized evergreen (ever-maroon-burgundy) open branching shrub from South Africa, long stems of "flowers" in winter-spring, with the true flower cones in the centre of the coloured leaves. Leaves are deepest brown-black all year round, with those closest to the golden true flowers turning maroon and red
USE FOR:  Suitable for garden beds, hedges, borders, feature plant, large containers, cut flower garden.
CLIMATE : Frost tolerant to -5C
PLANTING :  Prefers full sun to part shade. Suitable for a variety of soil types but must be well drained.
CARE: Mulch and water regularly during the first 4-6 weeks and until the plant is established. A very hardy, low maintenance plant being frost and drought tolerant once mature.
HEIGHT & WIDTH: 1.5 m H x 1.5-2 m W.
