Red new growth on soft grey-green leaves, with masses of white flowers in spring. Full sun gives leaves a brighter red colour. Claret Tops can be clipped into hedges or topiary as a feature plant, or left wild in native gardens. Birds love it!

Melaleuca 'Claret Tops'
DESCRIPTION: Striking accent plant with grey-green leaves and red new growth after pruning, this small rounded shrub can be clipped to shape. Features masses of small white flowers in spring.USE IN: Perfect for borders, native gardens and as a feature plant. Attracts birdlife.
LOCATION: Tolerates most soil types and planting conditions but prefers free draining soil. Plant in full sun to maximize vibrancy of the new growth and encourage flowering. Plant in a free draining soil rich in organic matter. Drought resistant.
CARE: Mulch and water well, prune after flowering to encourage compact growth habit.
HEIGHT & WIDTH: 1.5 m H x 1 m W.
YOUR PLANTS: These plants are tube-stock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80mm high and 42 mm wide
