Melaleuca diosmifolia - green honey myrtleAPPEARANCE : Tall open WA coastal native shrub with small dark green leaves clothing the branches, and lime green bottlebrush flowers in spring and summer.
USE IN: Native gardens, wildlife gardens, informal hedging or windbreak as plants are dense all the way to the ground.
LOCATION: Prefers free draining sandy soil; happy in coastal gardens. Plant in full sun to encourage flowering. Drought tolerant once established.
CARE: Mulch and water well, lightly prune after flowering to encourage dense growth. Might come through a light overnight frost once established and mature.
