Description

Metrosideros 'Tahiti' - dwarf New Zealand Christmas bush

DESCRIPTION: Compact evergreen shrub, a smaller form of Metrosideros. Orange-red fluffy pompom flowers, green foliage with red stems, shaded rust-red and grey when young.
PLANTING: Plant in full sun to part shade in free draining soil. Happy in salt spray and humidity; will need protecting from frost.
USES: Seaside planting, wildlife gardens, hedging, in pots and tubs, or on its own as a specimen plant.
CARE: Prune lightly following after flowering is finished, or clip to maintain a lower hedge height. An annual feed with a Osmocote Trees and Shrubs will keep it healthy.
HEIGHT & WIDTH: 1m H x 1m W.
