A tiny microbat can eat up to 400 mozzies a night! That's got to be good reason to install one of these boxes in your garden. There's 26 different kinds of microbat in SE Queensland alone, like the Little Forest Bat, weighing only 4 grams. It has one baby a year, and its roosting and feeding sites are under threat from forestry, mining, agriculture, and land clearance for housing.
