Monstera adansonii - Swiss cheese vine

APPEARANCE: Climbing/trailing foliage Monstera, ideal for shaded areas. Long trailing stems with aerial roots. Small green heart-shaped leaves taper to a point, and each has a unique pattern of holes inside.
USE FOR: In tropical gardens outside, on sheltered balconies, or indoors in a pot.
LOCATION: Plant in free draining soil rich in organic matter in a part-full shade location for lush green foliage. Protect from frost; ideally over 15C.
CARE: Mulch and water regularly during the first 12 weeks until the plant is established. A watering with diluted liquid fertiliser monthly will keep the foliage looking healthy. For potted plants, avoid overwatering. Spray foliage with a trigger spray to improve humidity in dry climates.
HEIGHT & WIDTH: 1.8 - 3 m H x 45 - 90 cm W, can reach 10m+ H if climbing
YOUR PLANTS: These are tubestock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80mm high and 42 mm wide. May be supplied as 'plugs', slightly smaller than our usual tubestock but with a healthy root system ready for planting or potting on. You can see an example in the image gallery
