Myrsine Africanus - African box, Cape myrtle
APPEARANCE : Small, glossy small-leaved evergreen hedging.USE FOR : Ideal for hedging and screening in the garden or a traffic barrier. Great used in formal gardens and containers, and for topiary and ornamental hedging.
PLANTING : Plant in a sunny to part shade position in the garden. Tolerates clay and most soil types except acidic.
CARE : Mulch and water well when planting. Continue to water regularly for the first 12 weeks or until the plant is established. Fertilise during Spring and prune as required to maintain form.
HEIGHT & WIDTH : 1-1.5m W on average; will grow 2-3m H unclipped.
YOUR PLANTS : These are tubestock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80mm high and 42 mm wide.
