The dwarf species form. Hardy, tenacious, low maintenance evergreen shrub, with varying scarlet-bronze tones of foliage in cooler months.

Only 60cm or so around, ideal for pots and containers, no-clip low borders and edges. Hot dry sites give brighter colour.

Hugely popular with our customers as a great value alternative to named cultivars.

Nandina domestica 'Nana' - sacred bamboo
APPEARANCE : Small and dense evergreen shrub with a range of leaf colour in reds and yellows during the cooler months of the year. Clips to shape well.
USE FOR : Ideal for hedges, borders and rockeries for a splash of contrasting colour year round.  Suitable for pots.
CLIMATE : Tolerant of a wide range of soils and climates, can grow in -20C to +40C temperature range.
PLANTING : Sunny to part shade, will even grow in exposed areas in most parts of Australia.
CARE : Mulch and water well, prune as required to promote new growth and fertilise in spring.
MATURE HEIGHT & WIDTH: 60 cm H x 60 cm W. YOUR PLANTS : These are tubestock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80mm high and 42 mm wide.
