Spring Bling brings conformity and reliability to the highly variable native daisy bush - predictable height, abundant flowering, clear white colour.

Pretty tough too, as the parent species grows above the tree line and in snow regions.

It's cruisy, almost carefree, pollinator-friendly, and dazzlingly showy in spring when it transforms into a sparkling constellation of white flowers.

Olearia phlogopappa ‘Spring Bling’ - dusty daisy bush, coastal daisy bush

APPEARANCE : Compact native shrub, narrow greyish-green aromatically musky leaves, slender-petalled small daisy flowers in late spring and into early summer in La Niña cycles. The species form flowers in pink, purple, and white; Spring Bling is pure white with pale yellow centres
ORIGIN : The parent species is found all down the southern east coast from NSW to TAS, in a range of habitats
USE FOR : Native gardens, cottage gardens, mixed flower beds, for pollinators
CLIMATE : Frost tolerant; will tolerate dry spells but performs better with regular water
PLANTING : Plant in moist well-draining soils in full sun or part shade. Flowering will be reduced in shade but overall growth may be better. Lack of water during the growing period, and wet soils that do not drain, can result in bare stems but the annual prune will take care of this.
CARE : Water in prolonged dry spells. Can get a bit 'leggy' with age, so an annual haircut after flowering helps keep it bushy and growing strongly, and encourages flowering shoots next year. Shear all over, or prune stems as cut flowers for the house. After pruning, add organic feed and mulch.
MATURE HEIGHT & WIDTH :   1.5m H x 1.5m W.
YOUR PLANTS : These are tubestock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80mm high and 42 mm wide.
You can see an example in the image gallery.
