Ophiopogon nigrescens - black mondo
APPEARANCE : Bold groundcover with grass-like foliage and lilac flower spikes appearing during the warmer months of the year.USE FOR : Perfect for borders, edging pathways and rockeries. Also ideal used in underplanting within the garden or in potted plants. Not as drought tolerant or vigorous as the green form.
PLANTING : Full sun to partly shaded position in the garden. Suited to container planting.
CARE : Prefers moist well-drained soil. Mulch and water regularly until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks. Tolerates dry conditions, thrives with regular water.
HEIGHT & WIDTH : 30 cm H x 30 cm W.
