Heavily scented white flowers cover this shrub in summer, with a sweet orange blossom fragrance. If murraya gives you the itches but you love the smell, try this shrub instead. It's evergreen too, unlike most philadelphus; which also means it needs a little protection over winter if frost is forecast.
APPEARANCE: Evergreen shrub from Central America with sweetly scented white cup-shaped flowers in summer. USE IN: Ideal used as a border and hedging plant.
