Description

Pittosporum tenuifolium 'Perfect Pillar'

DESCRIPTION: Fast growing evergreen shrub for hedging, bushy and dense, naturally rounded neat growth habit, shiny light green leaves typical of pittosporums. Dark brown small flowers with a honey scent appear on unclipped stems.
USE IN: Hedges, privacy screens, topiary.
LOCATION: Plant in well drained soil, rich with humus in full sun or part shade.
CARE: Fertilise with a slow release fertiliser in spring and again in autumn. Prune to maintain shape and compact growth. Will regrow after a hard prune if necessary. Water frequently until plant is established, check for moisture during dry spells. Will survive a light frost.
