This one is sure to be a winner - it's got all the fantastic qualities of the blue star creeper but with more frost tolerance, larger starrier flowers, deeper blue colour. the leaves arrange in an attractive herringbone, and it's a fast-grower too!

Pratia pedunculata'Country Park' - blue star creeper
APPEARANCE: Spreading fast-growing native plant related to lobelia, that forms a dense, low carpet able to withstand light foot traffic. Produces masses of small blue starry flowers during spring and summer. Country park has larger, deeper blue flowers than the species form, and rounder smooth-edged leaves arranged in a herringbone.
USE IN: Great for filling spaces in rockeries, edging in gardens or defining large paved areas. Makes a beautiful ornamental lawn in temperate climates.
PLANTING: Mulch and water well regularly until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks.
CARE: Prefers moist conditions, water often during dry periods. Fertilise in Spring to encourage plenty of new growth. Will survive drought and full sun but prefers cooler shadier places to look its best.
HEIGHT & WIDTH: 10cm x 1.5 m.
