APPEARANCE : Spreading fast-growing native plant related to lobelia that forms a dense, low carpet able to withstand light foot traffic. Produces masses of small palest blue flowers during spring and summer. Rounder leaves than the white flowered pedunculata. USE FOR : Great for filling spaces in rockeries, edging in gardens or defining large paved areas. Makes a ornamental lawn in termperate climates. PLANTING : Mulch and water well regularly until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks. CARE : Prefers moist conditions, water often during dry periods. Fertilise in Spring to encourage plenty of new growth. Will survive drought and full sun but prefers cooler shadier places to look its best. HEIGHT & WIDTH : 10cm 1.5 m.
