Rhaphiolepis Apple Blossom
DESCRIPTION: Small rounded shrub featuring rose-pink flowers, small metallic blue berries, and shiny foliage. Evergreen hedging plant. Tolerates frost, humid and dry conditions once established.
USE IN: Suited to cottage gardens, coastal planting and low hedging. Ideal for container and patio planting and even as a bonsai specimen.
PLANTING: Plant in a full sun position in the garden. Mulch and water well regularly until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks.
CARE: Prune after flowering to encourage dense growth and flowering. Fertilise using a slow release fertiliser during spring.
HEIGHT &WIDTH: Up to 1m H x 0.8m W.
PLEASE NOTE: These plants are tube-stock plants, with the benefit of being a young plant they will establish quickly in your garden. The average size of your plants will be 15 -25 cm in height with a pot size of 42 mm wide and 80 mm high.
