APPEARANCE : Fast growing evergreen shrub with large rounded leaves and clusters of perfumed pink flowers late winter-early summer. The nectar rich flowers are irresistible to bird life, bees and butterflies!
USE FOR : Plant as a privacy screen or flowering hedge, for smaller cottage style gardens, make it the star feature.
PLANTING : Plant in a full sun-partly shaded location in free draining soil. Suited to coastal planting. Tolerates prolonged dry periods once established.
CARE : Mulch after planting and water regularly for the first 12 weeks, or until the plant is established. Prune lightly after flowering (avoid cutting into old wood) and fertilise using a slow release fertiliser yearly to encourage dense growth habit. Protect from frost.
HEIGHT & WIDTH : 2-3 m H x 3 m W.
