Sempervivum Onyx from the SuperSemps® series is a cool little succulent with glossy, deep purple, almost black rosettes that bring instant drama to pots, rockeries, or mixed succulent displays.
Tough and low-maintenance, it happily spreads into neat clusters with zero fuss, making it a fun, laid-back way to add bold colour and texture to your garden.
Sempervivum SuperSemps® 'Onyx'
APPEARANCE : Small neat pointy rosette succulent. Glossy, deep purple rosettes that pop in any garden or pot, forming neat, eye-catching clusters. Semper-vivum means "ever-living".USE IN: Rockeries, pots, green roofs, indoors, waterwise gardens.
PLANTING : Plant in free-draining gritty soil in full sun for maximum leaf colour and root health. Rock-solid cold hardy and drought tolerant once established.
CARE: Don't overwater; and water around - not into - the rosettes during summer heatwaves. Carefully remove dead old leaves by pulling gently. If any pups (little plants) form, remove them carefully and pot them on, or leave them in place to form a colony of groundcovering rosettes.
HEIGHT & WIDTH: 5-8 cm H x 10-15 cm W.
YOUR PLANTS : These are tubestock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80mm high and 42 mm wide.
