A small and slender spathiphyllum, with long tapering slim leaves and small tapering white flowers often all year round. Very elegant and compact, ideal for indoor decoration - where, like all peace lilies, it will clean the air and help improve air quality.

Spathiphyllum 'Sweet Chico' - peace lily

APPEARANCE : Also known as 'peace lily' this clumping plant is native to South America and thrives in humid shady climates. Medium sized peace lily with dark slender foliage and white upright flowers tapering to a point, which stand above the leaves. Sweet Chico usually produces more flowers other peace lily varieties and flowers all year round in the right conditions.
USE FOR : Perfect indoor plant for adding a cool tropical vibe. Suited to under planting outdoors in tropical climates. Renowned for its air-cleaning properties.
PLANTING: Plant in sheltered position, avoid direct sunlight. Mulch and water regularly until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks. Protect from frost and provide plenty of water during dry periods.
CARE: Water only when soil begins to dry, gently push your finger into the soil to test for moisture. Spathiphyllum thrive in humid conditions. Apply a slow release fertiliser during spring and a liquid based fertiliser every 2-4 weeks during the warmer months, take care to dilute your solution to half the recommended dose to avoid burn. For indoor plants - wipe leaves gently with a damp cloth if you notice them collecting dust and spritz with a hand sprayer, this will refresh the foliage to its usual glossy finish. Re-pot container plants at the beginning of spring.

YOUR PLANTS: These are tubestock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80mm high and 42 mm wide. May be supplied as 'plugs', slightly smaller than our usual tubestock but with a healthy root system ready for planting or potting on.
