Stylidium adnatum var. abbreviatum 'Palgarup Trigger' - trigger plant, trigger grass

APPEARANCE :A small native with delicate pink to white flowers that snap shut when insects land, set against neat green foliage. The flowers have four petals set in the form of a diagonal cross.
ORIGIN : Native to southern WA where it grows in gum forests and paperbark swamps
USE FOR :  Native gardens and perfect for brightening up rockeries, borders or small garden spaces with its quirky, bug-snapping flowers.
PLANTING :Plant in well-drained, sandy or gravelly soil in a sunny spot; it’s hardy and can handle most temperatures, including occasional light frost.
CARE :  Low-maintenance and fuss-free; water moderately, let the soil dry out between drinks and prune lightly if needed to keep it tidy. Follow with an application of a native slow release fertiliser.
HEIGHT & WIDTH :  30cm x 30cm W.
