Fast growing for instant results, to 5m unclipped. Compact tightly growing pale green foliage that emerges with a reddish bronze tinge.

Excellent for hedging and screening. Psyllid resistant (hence Resilience), so no bumpy leaves. White flowers and bright pink edible fruit.

Syzygium australe 'Resilience' - lilly pilly, brush cherry

APPEARANCE :  Compact and tightly growing foliage that emerges with a dark reddish bronze tinge. White fluffy flowers followed by pink bushtucker berries. Psyllid resistant.
ORIGIN : Native to the east coast of QLD and NSW
USE FOR : Excellent for hedging, shaping into topiary, privacy screening
CLIMATE : Resilient in most locations. Will tolerate light frosts.
PLANTING : Tolerates most positions and conditions but would benefit with mulching and fertilising at the time of planting in a well drained soil.  Ideal in full sun.
CARE : Mulch and keep watered until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks. Tip prune while young to encourage dense foliage growth, prune twice yearly or as required once fully established.
MATURE HEIGHT & WIDTH: 3 - 5m H x 2 - 3m W but normally clipped to preferred height.
YOUR PLANTS : These are tubestock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80mm high and 42 mm wide.
