This delicious herb adds a zest of lemon flavour to teas, salads, fish, or desserts when used fresh or dried. If you don't cook much, grow it for the aromatic lemon-scented foliage, which makes a pretty and drought-tolerant filler between pavers - especially when those pink-purple flowers bloom and lure in bees and butterflies.

APPEARANCE : Very hardy, low-growing evergreen groundcover with a spreading habit. Small rounded foliage is aromatic, and covered in summer by small lavender-pink flowers that are bee-attracting.USE FOR : Rock gardens, in sunny beds and borders; kitchen and herb gardens, sensory gardens.
LOCATION : Plant in a sunny location, in free draining soil.
CARE : Mulch and water regularly for the first 12 weeks until the plant establishes. Tolerates drought and frost once established. Clip it over after flowering to keep it fresh.
HEIGHT & WIDTH : 15 - 30cm H x 30 - 60cm W.
