Tillandsia cyanea - air plant
APPEARANCE: Popular bromeliad variety which seems to live almost entirely on air. When mature and happy will produce a hot pink leaf-shaped bract with purple flowers
USES: Attach plants to a piece of driftwood for a natural centrepiece. Hanging air plants in glass terrariums allows for plenty of air circulation and makes an attractive display.
PLANTING: Air plants love well lit areas with humidity and plenty of air circulation. Avoid direct sunlight
CARE: Spritz plants with a hand sprayer daily during the warmer months unless in high humidity; then weekly through winter. Plants that are exposed to dry conditions such as heaters and air conditioners will need a good weekly soaking. Not sure if you need to soak your plants? Check to see if the leaves are beginning to curl, this is the first sign that the plant needs water. Sit plants in water for 2-3 hours or overnight.
HEIGHT & WIDTH: 15-20cm H x 15-20cm W.
YOUR PLANTS: These plants are tubestock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80mm high and 42 mm wide
