Air-Cleaning Plants

Scientist Bill Wolverton's studies for NASA shows how some plants remove harmful chemicals (including carcinogens) from the air we breathe, increase oxygen levels, and so improve our quality of life. Research by Professor Tove Fjeld shows how plants in offices reduce sickness (especially tiredness and breathing issues) and increase health; and plants in hospitals help patients get better faster. This TED talk is on growing fresh air with plants.
Here are some of the best plants to remove chemicals, clean the air, and improve our health and wellbeing.
