Grevillea - spider flower

Grevilleas come in all shapes from low growing ground covers, small shrubs and hedges, to tall trees. Their unique flowers in sunset shades attract native wildlife to feed on the sweet nectar. Several grevilleas have beautiful ferny foliage, which makes them an attractive and popular garden plant all year round. Most Grevilleas are frost tolerant once established and mature, though they may require some protection while young. Good drainage will help hardiness. They are also generally drought tolerant; flowering will be much improved with regular irrigation.
