Virginia Stock - seed
Malcomia maritima

DESCRIPTION: Lowgrowing annual bedding plant covered in a mix of white, pink, and purple open flowers, popular for hanging baskets and pots.
PLANTING: Late summer-autumn avoiding extreme cold and heat, check the seed pack for detailed info on planting in your area. Sow seeds direct into their final position, cover with a light layer of soil and keep moist. Thin seedlings if they become crowded & replant elsewhere in the garden. Plant in free draining soil in a full sun location for best flowering. Happy in sandy and coastal locations.
CARE: Water seedlings regularly until established and continue to provide water especially during dry spells. Mulch plants to keep the roots cool in summer. For an extra long flowering season feed with liquid fertiliser
