APPEARANCE : Ozbreed variety. Fast-growing free-flowering tall native shrub with dense evergreen foliage, slightly broader than other westringia. Features small mauve, bird-attracting lilac-purple flowers during spring and sporadically throughout the year. USES : Hardy hedge for coastal and dry areas. Allow to grow naturally in cottage style gardens, or clip to shape for formal borders. Suited to containers. PLANTING : Hardy shrub suited to most conditions. Plant in full sun to part shade in the garden, in a free-draining soil rich in organic matter. CARE : Mulch and water regularly until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks. Drought and light frost tolerant once established. HEIGHT & WIDTH : 2m H x 1.5 m W when allowed to grow naturally; will clip to 1m H x 60cm W.
