Neat native shrub for feature planting, striking privacy screen hedges and essential in a wildlife garden. Loved by birds, honeyeaters and lorikeets especially. Paler yellow flowers than the Fairhill Gold variety, and a smaller overall size.

Xanthostemon chrysanthus 'Little Penda'
DESCRIPTION: A native to Northern Queensland rainforests, 'Little Penda' is a dense growing shrub or small tree featuring creamy-yellow flower clusters through the warmer months. Birds love feasting on the nectar!
USE IN: Plant as a feature tree where you can enjoy the sunny yellow flowers. Grows in areas of periodic flooding.
PLANTING: Plant in a full sun to partly shaded position in the garden. Mulch and water regularly until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks.
CARE: Provide moderate watering during dry periods. Prefers warm climates. Tolerates light frost.
HEIGHT & WIDTH:  2-4 m H x 2 m W, may grow taller in shaded areas.
PLEASE NOTE: These are tube-stock plants, with the benefit of being a young plant they will establish quickly in your garden. The average size of your plants will be 15 -25 cm in height including the pot height of 80 mm x 42 mm wide.
