Description

Zoysia Zen Grass® 'ZOY01' - Japanese lawn grass

APPEARANCE: Ornamental soft low-growing grass with fine dark green leaves and dense undulating habit. Faster growing than Zoysia tenuifolia, and more resilient.
USE FOR : Suited to rockeries, around ponds and swimming pools, ground cover for between pavers and cottage gardens. Lawn alternative for low foot traffic areas.
CLIMATE : Tolerates drought, humidity, wet soil, and frost once established. Tested in QLD and ACT.
PLANTING : Plant in well drained soil in a sun or shade in the garden. For maximum coverage plant 20 - 30 cm apart.
CARE : Water regularly until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks. Fertilise with a slow release fertiliser in spring. For a lawn effect mow monthly in summer and once in winter, otherwise leave to grow without mowing.
MATURE HEIGHT & WIDTH : 10 cm H x 40 cm W.
YOUR PLANTS : These are tubestock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80mm high and 42 mm wide.
