Ficus benjamina 'Midnight Petite' - weeping fig

DESCRIPTION: Compact growing weeping fig featuring dark glossy foliage and dense foliage, ideal grown in containers and used for low hedging.
USE IN: Plant in a full sun to partly shaded position in a container for indoor/outdoor or patio planting.
PLANTING: Suited to full sun and shade, perfect for almost anywhere. Provide plenty of water during dry periods. Prefers warm climates.
CARE: Mulch and water with a seaweed based fertiliser on planting to reduce transplant shock, follow with regular watering until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks. Prune regularly to help maintain a tidy growth habit. Apply a slow release fertiliser twice yearly and protect from frost. Weeping figs don't like being moved and can drop leaves in shock, but these will grow back.
