All our plants are sold online through our website australianplantsonline.com.au
Most of our plants we grow ourselves on our Sunshine Coast nursery. We also source plants from other selected quality local nurseries where we cannot grow them ourselves.
Some plants (predominately Myrtaceae, Rhododendron/Azalea, Vaccinium) cannot be sent to certain Australian states, due to state biosecurity restrictions. These plants are also identified on the individual product pages of the website.
We do our very best to grow the very best tubestock plants possible, at affordable prices, and to be fair and honest with our customers.
You must be over 18 to place an order.
Our minimum order limit is one item – plant, seed packet, bulb packet or garden accessory.
We have no maximum order limit, providing that we have stock available and listed online.
You do not need to open an account to place an order, by using the Guest Checkout option.
If you think that you will need to change or add to your order, please open an account in advance to save your selection.
All carts will be saved for 7 days.
If you place and pay for an order and then decide to cancel it before it is shipped, a $15 administration charge will be applied to cover our staff time in processing this. A refund of the balance will be issued within 10 working days. Once shipped, orders cannot be cancelled.
Plant stock levels listed on the website are as accurate as possible and are usually updated daily.
Plants are living and variable items, and we do not guarantee stock of any plants. Plant size may vary. We send the best plants we have available at the time.
If you have ordered plants that we are subsequently unable to supply, we'll get in touch with you to offer a substitute of the closest variety of plant where possible or offer a store credit if a similar variety is not available.
You can pay via PayPal, Visa and MasterCard credit cards and debit cards, in Australian dollars.
Prices are listed in Australian dollars and include GST.
Your order will not be picked and packed for shipping until full payment is received.
Once your order is submitted and paid for, you cannot add or change to it, or apply discounts to it retrospectively. Please be certain your order is complete and you have entered all information before you check out.
We cannot consolidate or combine two separate orders after you have placed them. All orders are processed separately.

If you want shipment of your plants delayed until a specific date, a $15 administration charge will be applied to cover our staff time in maintaining your plants in the interim. Otherwise all plant orders are shipped as soon as possible.
Please supply complete and accurate payment and delivery details. We cannot be responsible for any loss or delay or failure to deliver or process your order resulting from inaccurate or incomplete details provided.
We reserve the right to reject your order. If this occurs, we will refund any money paid.
We deliver to Australian addresses, through Australia Post and Fastways courier. We will deliver your plants by the most efficient method possible, based on your delivery location.
You can order from outside Australia, if the plants are to be delivered to an Australian address. Please allow for currency exchange fees applied by your bank.
We can deliver to PO Boxes.
We pack and ship as soon as possible after receipt of your order. Please allow on average 5-7 working days from receipt of order for packing; and 5-7 working days from date of shipment for delivery. In peak gardening times or public holiday times (eg early spring, Easter, Christmas) your order might take 10 days or more from date of shipping.. We generally do not ship on Fridays before Monday Public Holidays, to limit the time your plants spend in transit.
Delivery of parcels depends on Australia Post, or our courier companies in urban areas, so we do not have control over this.
You will be sent an order tracking number via email as soon as we receive payment and start to process your order. We will email you to let you know when your parcel has been shipped, so you can track its progress.
Delivery charges will be shown in your checkout form. You can also find estimated charges here. Orders over $260 in value are delivered free.
If you have placed an order for collection from our nursery, we will contact you when the order is ready for collection, usually within 7 days. Please do not turn up without an appointment, as your plants will not be ready for collection.
WA Shipping : All orders incur a $10 surcharge as a contribution to the cost of biosecurity inspections. We ship to WA once a week, at a schedule that minimises the time the plants spend in transit. Please therefore allow 14 days from shipping notification for your parcel to arrive.
Please check all product descriptions before ordering, we try to give as much information as possible including care notes and dimensions. Please check your order when it arrives.
If your plant order is incorrect, or arrives in poor condition as a result of shipping issues, please contact our customer service department directly, by phone (07) 5451 3506 or email via the website form, as soon as possible, and certainly within 7 days.
If you do not phone or email our customer service within 7 days of receipt we cannot accept responsibility for any issues or delivery problems. Contacting us via our social media accounts is not a substitute, as we do not check those accounts daily and cannot track your orders through their platforms.
Let us know your full name, address, and order number if you have it, so we can track your order faster.
You will need to email us photographs of the plants so we can see the problem and take steps to identify and rectify it.
If your plants are not those you ordered, or arrive in poor condition, we will issue a store credit for the value of your plants, or mail you replacement plants if we have those available.
If you have ordered a plant which is not yet of flowering size, and upon flowering, you discover it is not the variety you ordered, please follow the above steps. We understand in this case you will not be able to contact us in 7 days, so you will need to contact us as soon as the plant first flowers.
If you have ordered the wrong plant, or changed your mind since purchase, we do not accept returns or issue refunds for plants bought in error.
If you have mistakenly ordered seeds or bulbs thinking they were plants, you can return them to us at your own cost within 7 days of receipt for a refund of the product cost. We will not refund shipping costs.
If you have ordered a gift or sundry item (not including gift cards, and not including live plants) that you do not want, you can return them to us at your own cost within 7 days of receipt for a refund of the product cost. We will not refund shipping costs.
All our orders are hand packed with care, and leave our nursery in the very best condition possible. However, issues can arise in transit which we have no control over.
Your personal contact information is only collected for the purposes of fulfilling your order, communicating with you about your order, and sending you information on our plants and gardening. In placing your order, or signing up for our email service, you agree for us to retain your personal information for that purpose.
We do not sell or share your data with third parties.
We do not hold any credit/debit card details. If you pay online, these are held by third party payment providers to ensure maximum security.
