Bulbs

Summer flowering bulbs and summer produce are here! Bulbs are available when it's the right time to plant them. Once they sell out, that's it until next year!
We get a lot of enquiries throughout the year from new gardeners wanting to buy bulbs. So if you are new to gardening :
  • Spring bulbs - like tulip, daffodil, freesia, jonquil, ranunculus, allium, crocus - take around six months to grow, so you plant them in Autumn/early Winter
  • Summer bulbs - like lily, calla, bearded iris, gladiolus, dahlia, peony - take around three months to grow, so you plant them in Spring/early Summer
  • Summer produce - you'll find fruit and vegetable crowns (bare rooted plants) like berries and seed potatoes ready for planting in Winter/Spring

We are unable to ship bulbs to TAS and WA, and fruit & veg to NT, because of state biosecurity laws.
