We'll be honest, our nursery manager chose this for the name... but what a stunner it is! Crinkly-crunkly leaves shading to deep rosy pink at the margins; the green of young growth becoming more purple in cold temperatures.
DESCRIPTION: This rosette succulent has broad leaves in shades of green through to purple-blue, the colour changing depending on the time of year. Each leaf has frilled edges, reddish-pink, forming a large upright rosette. USE IN: Great for rockeries, pots and indoors. Hardy and drought tolerant once established. LOCATION: Plant in well drained soil in sun for maximum leaf colour. CARE: Water little and often until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks. Once established, plants may be divided and planted in another area of the garden. HEIGHT & WIDTH: 30 cm H x 30 cm W. YOUR PLANTS: These are tubestock plants with a healthy young root system and will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80 mm x 42 mm wide. Your plants may be supplied as 'plugs', slightly smaller than our usual tubestock but with a healthy root system ready for planting or potting on.
