A colour-changing succulent, silver-green in light shade with regular water, pinky-orange in full sun and drought conditions. (See the images for a guide.) The chubby little rosettes are very appealing, whatever the colour.
Echeveria 'Monroe'

DESCRIPTION: Compact succulent, a rosette of fat silvery-blue-green leaves with pinky-red tips, stronger coloured in brighter light.
USE IN: Great for rockeries, pots and indoors.
LOCATION: Best grown in good light as this will develop more compact tight rosettes. Full sun will cause colour shading on the leaves. Needs well-drained soil. Hardy and drought tolerant once established.
CARE:Water when the top of the soil is dry; be careful not to overwater. Water around the plant or into its cachepot or saucer, not onto the rosette. Carefully pull away any dead dry leaves from the edge of the rosette. Avoid excessive fondling of the plant to maintain its colour.
HEIGHT & WIDTH: 20cm H x 20cm W.
YOUR PLANTS: These are tubestock plants with a healthy young root system and will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80 mm x 42 mm wide. Your plants may be supplied as 'plugs', slightly smaller than our usual tubestock but with a healthy root system ready for planting or potting on.
