Olive 'Manzanillo' - Olea europaea
DESCRIPTION: Mediterranean tree with spreading crown, oval grey-green leaves, medium-large green oval fruits that ripen to purple-black.
USE IN: Shade tree, fruit tree, foliage plant. Perfect for sandy areas and poor soil. Suitable for large pots.
LOCATION: A full sun to partly shaded position in the garden. Hardy shrub suited to most conditions nationwide, and coastal plantings.  Needs two months of cold 0-10C to initiate fruits. Will tolerate light frost when mature. Prefers dry winters and wet summers so ideal for southern states.
Plant in a free draining soil rich in organic matter.
CARE: Easy if the climate is right for it. Mulch and water well during the first 12 weeks until the plant is established, prune after flowering to promote new growth.
HEIGHT & WIDTH: 5 m H x 5 m W.
PLEASE NOTE: These are tube-stock plants, with the benefit of being a young plant they will establish quickly in your garden. The pot height is 80 mm x 42 mm wide.
