Tight little plum rosettes of leaves unfold gradually as the plant grows, to form waterlilies of pale green blushed with pink, or icy silver-blue, changing with the light and temperature. Each leaf tip tapers to a blood-red point, and happy plants will give you coral pink bell flowers as a bonus.
Echeveria gemmula ''

APPEARANCE : Rosette-forming Mexican succulent of small leaves with pointed red tips. Varies in colour with light and seasons, pale pink-green to blue-grey. Happy succulents produce coral pink flowers with orange insides. Note - plants supplied are young, and will develop their distinctive adult shape and points as they grow.
USE IN: Great for rockeries, pots and indoors. Hardy and drought tolerant once established.
LOCATION: Plant in well drained soil in a full sun position for maximum leaf colour.
CARE: Water when the top of the soil is dry; be careful not to overwater. Water around the plant or into its cachepot or saucer, not onto the rosette. Carefully pull away any dead dry leaves from the edge of the rosette. Avoid excessive fondling of the plant to maintain its colour.
HEIGHT & WIDTH: 0.1m H x 0.1m W.
YOUR PLANTS: These are tubestock plants with a healthy young root system and will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80 mm x 42 mm wide. Your plants may be supplied as 'plugs', slightly smaller than our usual tubestock but with a healthy root system ready for planting or potting on.
