Green-black rosettes, leaves like short swords in contrast to the round rosettes of Black Prince. Colour deepens in sunlight but happy growing in part shade or indoors too.

APPEARANCE: Compact succulent with a rosette of slightly elongated sword-shaped black-green leaves. Colour deepens in sunshine. Vermilion-red small bell-like flowers on happy mature plants.
USE FOR: Great for rockeries, pots and indoors. Hardy and drought tolerant once established.
PLANTING : Plant in well-drained soil in a full sun position for maximum leaf colour.
CLIMATE: Frost free or indoors. Drought tolerant.
CARE: Water when the top of the soil is dry; be careful not to overwater. Water around the plant or into its cachepot or saucer, not onto the rosette. Carefully pull away any dead dry leaves from the edge of the rosette.
MATURE HEIGHT & WIDTH: 0.1m H x 0.1m W.
