Scaevola Purple Fusion - fan flower
Really low-growing wide-spreading cushion-like fanflower ideal for groundcover and mass planting. No clipping needed with this one unless you want to neaten up the outer edges.
Masses of tiny purple flowers year round in warm locations, spring in frosty ones. The flowers are slightly larger and more pointed than Mauve Ckusters, and the leaves are alightly larger too. You can see the comparisons in the image gallery
Scaevola humilis Purple Fusion™ ‘PFS100’ PBR
APPEARANCE : Ozbreed variety. Native fanflower, bred to be much flatter, lower-growing and more spreading than other types. Drought tolerant, flowers year-round in frost-free locations, spring in heavy frost sites.
USE FOR : Cottage style gardens, rockeries and hanging baskets, mass groundcover, underplanting.
PLANTING : Plant in full sun to maximise flowering. Prefers well drained soil, frost and drought tolerant.
CARE: Mulch and water regularly until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks. Prune as required to maintain tidy growth.
HEIGHT & WIDTH: 20cm H x 1.5m W.
