If you're looking for something beautiful to cover a bank or bed quick-smart, and that needs very little care and attention afterwards, you can't go past this frilly little vinca. In rich garden loam it can be a little... enthusiastic, but in poor soil, soggy soil, and deep shade it really comes into its own.
Vinca minor 'Flore Pleno Elizabeth Cran' - purple periwinkle
