Glowing golden leaves will light up your lounge room this winter! Syngoniums are pretty easy care plants indoors, and they have an elegant trailing habit that's shown off best in a hanging pot or macrame planter. Not one for homes with curious pets or small children as the leaves are toxic if eaten.

Description

Syngonium podophyllum 'Golden Allusion' - goosefoot plant, arrowhead

APPEARANCE: Trailing foliage plant with arrow-shaped leaves, vibrant golden yellow shading to white, with pink-red veins.
USES: Ideal indoor plant for a shaded patio or indoors and interior planting schemes. Suited to underplanting in tropical style gardens.
PLANTING: Plant in a humid shady spot with indirect sunlight. Prefers free draining soil or a good quality potting mix.
CARE: Water regularly during the first 12 weeks and only if soil seems dry once established. Feed using liquid fertiliser at half rate every few weeks as the plant establishes then bi-monthly. Remove the old leaves for a quick tidy up - wash hands afterwards and keep pets and small children away from plants. Likes humidity, for indoor plants regular water and a spritz on the foliage will keep them happy.
HEIGHT & WIDTH: 15 - 30cm H x 20 - 30cm W.
YOUR PLANTS: These are tubestock plants, young healthy plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80 mm x 42 mm wide. May be supplied as 'plugs', slightly smaller than our usual tubestock but with a healthy root system ready for planting or potting on.
