Coprosma Green & Gold - mirror bush
This evergreen shrub has all the glossy gorgeousness of our other Coprosmas with the added advantage of bigger leaves and an overall bigger size - which means even more of the shiny foliage that gives mirror bushes their name.
Bright patriotic green-and-gold colouring all year round in a mild climate.
Coprosma x kirkii ‘Green & Gold’
APPEARANCE : Very glossy rounded leaves (hence its common name of mirror bush), bright golden leaves with a splash of green at the centre.
USE FOR : Hedges, privacy screens, year-round colour, feature planting in gardens or pots.
CLIMATE : Happy at the coast, can survive a light overnight frost once mature, is drought tolerant, and apparently somewhat fire-resistant though we have not tested this.
PLANTING : Plant in well drained soil in full sun to part shade.
CARE : Fertilise with a slow release fertiliser in spring and again in autumn. Prune to maintain shape and compact growth. Water young plants regularly until established; older plants have low water needs.
HEIGHT & WIDTH : 2.5 m H x 1 - 2 m W
YOUR PLANTS : These are tubestock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80mm high and 42 mm wide.
