Strangely beautiful, with eyelashes around each leaf, this super-flat low-profile succulent's name translates to the very fairytale-sounding "princess's mirror". It might not help you find a handsome prince, but it will give you a lovely and unusual pocket-size plant for indoors and out. Kawaii!

Aeonium tabuliforme 'Hime Meikyou'

APPEARANCE : Hime Meikyou forms tightly packed flat green rosettes of fringed leaves and produces lots of pups - young plants around the edge - generally tightly clumped and layered. Mature plants may send out a long pale green flowering stem; the central rosette will die but the pups will live on. "Hime" translates to princess, "Meikyou" translates to a polished or clear mirror. Hime Meikyou is a compact smaller form of A tabuliforme ideal for indoor decor.
USE FOR : Great for rockeries, pots and indoors. Hardy and drought tolerant once established.
LOCATION: Plant in gritty well drained soil in a brightly lit position. Protect from direct sun as the foliage can become sunburned.
CARE: Water lightly in the growing season, by watering around the plant or into the cachepot or saucer the plant is in, to avoid marking the leaves. Give it a bi-annual feed at the beginning of spring and autumn to maintain health.
HEIGHT & WIDTH:  up to 20cm H x up to 40cm W.
YOUR PLANTS: These are tubestock plants with a healthy young root system and will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80 mm x 42 mm wide.
