APPEARANCE : Tall growing variety. Evergreen, grass-like foliage and small burnt orange flowers on tall spikes spring and summer.
USE FOR Plant as a feature in pots or use as a bordering plant in native gardens. The flowers are nectar rich and bird attracting, popular used in cut flower arrangements.
PLANTING : Plant in free-draining soil in a full sun frost-free location. Suited to coastal planting and cottage style gardens.
CARE : For best flowering display remove the first flower spike to help stimulate new flower buds. Prune spent flowers and dead foliage regularly and this plant will reward your efforts. Tolerates drought and moderate frost once established.
HEIGHT & WIDTH : 1.5-2m H x 1m W.
