One of the popular Bush Gems® series of kangaroo paws, Surprise usually has yellow paws shading to red at the tips to give a charming two-tone sunset effect. We can see why it got its name as we've had buds from lime yellow through orange and rust to purple-grey! Good neat size for edging garden beds, or planting in a patio pot.

We love Bush Surprise for its varied sunset colouring, versatile size, upright habit

Anigozanthos humilis x flavidus 'Bush Surprise' PBR - kangaroo paw
APPEARANCE : Dwarf kangaroo paw with orange-red-purple paw flowers, apple green inside; and a compact, upright growth habit. Flower colour is brighter in sun.
USES: Plant as a feature in pots or use as a bordering plant in native gardens. Tolerant of coastal conditions, drought once established. The flowers are nectar rich and bird attracting, popular used in cut flower arrangements.
PLANTING: Plant in light free draining soil in a full sun frost-free location with plenty of air.  Kangaroo paws don't like too much humidity and do well in drier climates.

HEIGHT & WIDTH:  60 cm H x 50 cm W.
YOUR PLANTS: These plants are tubestock plants with healthy young roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80mm high and 42 mm wide. You can see an example in the image gallery
