Description

Eschscholzia californica - Californian poppy single mixed

APPEARANCE: Hardy annual featuring single flowers in glowing shades of orange, yellow, peach, cream, red, purple and rose-pink. Thrives in poor dry soils and full sun. Plant as a border or mass plant for a showy display.
PLANTING: Sow seeds directly during spring and summer; and also autumn-winter in frost free areas into free draining soil in a sunny location.
CARE: Water seedlings regularly until established. Native to California, these poppies are perfect for our hot and dry summers. Apply a liquid fertiliser like eco-seaweed when flower buds appear and remove any spent flowers to encourage heavier flowering.
